It is truly amazing how God is working in my life. I don’t think I would ever truly appreciate how God is working in my life if it wasn’t for me blogging about it. I was just reading over all of my posts that I have been making (not as many as I would like, but hey) and I realized that almost every single post that I have made is just a little tiny piece to a puzzle that brought me to the point I am at today. I just thought I would share the couple of people who actually read this blog that God works in little pieces and doesn’t give you the whole puzzle at once.
I am sure everyone has done a puzzle at some time in their life. Well, imagine your life as a puzzle. When you are doing a puzzle, you have the picture on the box to look at what the completed puzzle should look like. That picture on the box helps you find out where every little piece should go. You without God is like you without that picture on the box. Yeah, you can get through the puzzle without the picture on the box, but you will struggle greatly. Now you with God is much more amazing because He has the box, He sees the completed picture, He will give you the pieces for you to put together the puzzle, all you have to do is accept the pieces. Because God can see the completed picture, He knows exactly which piece you need when you need it.
Anyway, just a thought.

My little sister Desiree got married over this past weekend in North Carolina (where she and David live) and I had the privilege and honor of attending the wedding! The wedding was absolutely amazing and I got to meet some amazing people while down there
Here is the short list of the amazingness…
Desiree and David’s wedding was beautiful. Although it was way too hot to be wearing black for an outdoor wedding, it was amazing none the less. Desiree did an amazing job planning the wedding. Right after the unity plant ceremony, an eagle flew in right over where they were exchanging vows (totally not planned, but amazing.) After they exchanged their vows, they took their first communion and washed each others feet, which I must say is one of the most amazing displays of love and commitment I have ever seen. I know that this marriage has God in it so there is no need to wish them luck, I will just simply congratulate them. Congratulations David and Desiree!!!
Saturday, the day after the wedding, I slept in a bit and then woke up to cook breakfast for everyone (it was Brandi’s birthday.) After cooking breakfast, we (Brandi, Alison, and myself) all started to get the house looking good for when David and Desiree returned, and for church in the morning. (My sister is living in the upstairs of a house which is a church that David will be the Children’s Minister at.) After getting the house in good shape, we decided to go to Farmers Day, which is a 3 day festival with tractor pulls, a horse parade, and other things in Robbins, NC. It turned out that everything was pretty much over and Farmers Day was a bust…
After leaving Farmers Day, we went to the house of all of the other groomsman and they had a cookout and we all went swimming. One of the craziest parts about swimming is that we got to jump off of a tractor bucket. The best way to describe what we were doing is: Take a tractor with a scoop attached to the front of it to the edge of a pool. Get in the scoop. Lift the scoop all the way up (about 15-20 feet). Jump off of the scoop… It was absolutely amazing! I will try to get some pictures up soon.
Sunday my little sister and David got back and we all went to church. After church, we all went to a Mexican restaurant and ate, it was good. After eating, we went back to Desiree and David’s apartment where they opened all of their gifts and we just hung out. Brandi and I got to talk to each other a little more and I got to teach her a few swing dancing moves. Overall, the trip was amazing!!!
